Demob Job Ltd is recruiting for a specialist Field Service Engineer covering the Home Counties north of London. The role involves regular travel, occasional overnight stays, and working with advanced laboratory instrumentation across the UK.

Candidates should have an electrical/electronic background with suitable qualifications, strong fault-finding skills, and a full UK driving licence. Training and long-term career development are available within a respected organisation.

Qualifications

• Electrical, electronic engineering background with a recognised qualification (HNC or higher).
• Experience in field service or maintenance environment.
• Desirable: laboratory instrumentation or similar experience.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance, calibration and repair of equipment at customer sites.
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently, minimizing downtime.
• Provide technical support on site and remotely.
• Complete detailed service reports and maintain records.
• Maintain tools, test equipment and vehicle stock levels.
