Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is supporting an international manufacturer of inspection and packaging machinery in recruiting a Field Service Engineer. This home-based role covers the UK from Manchester to Reading, offering a salary up to £45,000 DOE plus £60,000+ OTE, plus a company car, paid overtime and benefits.

You will install, service and repair advanced X-ray, vision and product inspection systems at customer sites, travelling extensively to install and maintain equipment and provide operator

Qualifications

• Engineering experience with inspection systems, X-ray equipment, metal detection or packaging machinery.
• Strong electrical/electronic fault-finding skills and mechanical capability.
• A confident, customer-focused engineer who can work independently.
• Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel extensively.

Location: Home-based, anywhere from Manchester down to Reading

We're working with an international manufacturer of inspection and quality-control equipment used across the food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries.

This hands-on role involves installing, servicing and repairing advanced X-ray, vision and product inspection systems at customer sites.

The Role

• Install and commission inspection equipment on production and packaging lines.
• Carry out planned maintenance, breakdown repairs and electrical/mechanical fault-finding.
