A leading manufacturer of checkweighers is seeking an experienced Service Engineer to join their field-based team in the UK. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical engineering skills, with experience in commissioning and calibration of inspection machinery. Responsibilities include ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining high service standards. This role requires travel across the UK, including overnight stays.

Qualifications

• Experience with inspection machinery such as checkweighers, x-ray, and metal detection.
• Knowledge of food, beverage, and pharmaceutical industries.
• Willing to travel throughout the UK with overnight stays as required.

Overview

A leading manufacturer of checkweighers and x-ray machinery is seeking an experienced Service Engineer to join their growing team. The role is field based and will serve contracts across the UK. The ideal candidate will have experience within both mechanical and electrical engineering and will have experience of commissioning and calibration in checkweighers.

Package

• On call rota – 1 week in 6 – Paid for 20 additional hours

• Tools, safety equipment, phone and laptop
• Necessary training and support

Responsibilities

• Reporting to the UK Service Manager
• Responsible for ensuring that customers receive the level of service they have come to expect from a premium brand.
• Capable of working alone or in a team to commission, calibrate or repair the full range of our equipment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries.
• Willing to travel throughout the UK with over-night-stays as and when required.
