Job summary

White-Recruitment is partnering with an international manufacturer of inspection and quality-control equipment used in food, beverage and pharma. This hands-on role installs, services and repairs advanced X-ray, vision and product inspection systems at customer sites.

You’ll need engineering experience with inspection systems, strong electrical/electronic fault-finding skills and mechanical capability, plus a full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively.

Salary: GBP40000 - GBP45000 per annum

Location: Home-based, anywhere from Manchester down to Reading
Salary: Up to £45,000 DOE | £60,000+ OTE

This hands‑on role involves installing, servicing and repairing advanced X-ray, vision and product inspection systems at customer sites.

The Role

Install and commission inspection equipment on production and packaging lines.

Carry out planned maintenance, breakdown repairs and electrical/mechanical fault‑finding.

Set up and optimise equipment to maintain inspection accuracy and minimise downtime.

Provide technical support, operator guidance and service reports.

What We’re Looking For

Extensive travel is a key part of this position, with customer visits and changes to schedules often required at short notice.
