Job summary
Glen Callum Associates Ltd are recruiting a Field Service Engineer to service and repair diesel engines across the UK. You will diagnose faults, perform PPM, breakdowns and repairs on a range of engine applications, and complete electronic service reports.
The role requires strong diagnostics, a full UK driving licence and experience with industrial engines, hydraulics, electrics or engine management systems. Field-based with a company vehicle and overtime benefits.
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical, Plant, Agricultural or Heavy Vehicle Engineering.
- Strong diagnostics and fault-finding skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Field service experience across engine-powered equipment.
Responsibilities
- Service, maintain and repair diesel and petrol industrial engines.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical faults.
- Carry out PPM, breakdowns, fault finding and repair.
- Work with Stage V systems, CANbus, ECUs, sensors and 12/24V electrics.
- Complete electronic service reports and technical documentation.
- Build strong customer relationships and deliver high-quality support.
- Manage your own schedule in a fully field-based role.
