Job summary

Barrus is looking for an experienced Service Engineer to join their Industrial Division. This field-based role involves providing technical support, diagnostics, and servicing for diesel and petrol engines across the South of England and Wales. Candidates should have NVQ Level 3 in Service Engineering, strong experience in field-based roles, and the ability to manage their workload efficiently. A company vehicle is provided, and regular travel with occasional overnight stays is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in field-based service engineering or technician role.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Fault-finding, diagnostics, servicing and repair of engines.
• Technical support for customers and OEMs.
• Completing job cards and service worksheets accurately.

Skills

Fault-finding and diagnostics

Education
