Job summary

Coalesce Recruitment Limited seeks a Field Service Engineer to service and maintain complex automated systems across Wiltshire, Hampshire, Dorset and Somerset. You will operate from a home base, conducting preventative maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on customer sites, gaining Gas Safe qualifications through on-the-job training.

The role requires time served and/or NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with experience on pumps, motors, drives, valves and piping.

• Experience on electro-mechanical equipment and plant.
• Knowledge of pumps, motors, drives, compressors, valves and piping.

Responsibilities

• Base from home and perform planned maintenance, service and fault diagnosis on customer sites.
• Carry out repairs on electro-mechanical equipment across Wiltshire, Hampshire, Dorset and Somerset.
• Shadow senior engineers and pursue Gas Safe qualifications as part of training.

Field Service Engineer – Industry leading Global OEM – Wiltshire / Hampshire / Somerset / Dorset – Salary: £34,500 - £47,500 + Expenses + overtime = OTE = £45k -£55k ++ company van, tablet, mobile phone, 23 days holiday rising to 25 after 12 months service + bank, company pension scheme, life assurance and full workwear and ongoing training.

As Field Service Engineer you will be based from home and carry out planned preventative maintenance, service and fault diagnosis and repairs on customer sites throughout Wiltshire, Hampshire, Dorset, Somerset and further afield when required.

You will be time served and / or qualified to NVQ level 3 or equivalent within Mechanical or Electrical Engineering; able to demonstrate experience of working within a multi-skilled maintenance engineering or field service role, working on electro-mechanical equipment, machinery, capital equipment or plant and have experience or knowledge of pumps, motors, drives, compressors, valves, vacuum systems and piping.

Individuals with a HM Forces background who can demonstrate experience of working on a variety of electro-mechanical based plant would be of distinct interest to this business.
