Job summary

Elevation Recruitment Group's Engineering Services Division is recruiting a Field Service Engineer to service and repair specialist industrial machinery across Bristol, Gloucester, Reading, Oxford and Northampton. You will visit customer sites, perform inspections, and complete reports.

The role requires field service experience with industrial equipment, willingness to stay away from home, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Field Service experience with industrial manufacturing machinery.
• Ability to cover a regional patch with some nights away from home.
• Excellent communication and commitment to customer service.
• Apprentice-trained engineer, or mechanical with electrical fault finding experience (NVQ Level 3 or 18th edition).
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Elevation Recruitment Group's Engineering Services Division are supporting a specialist industrial machinery manufacturing company to recruit a Field Service Engineer as they expand their thriving Engineering Services Team.

The Field Service Engineer will cover the Bristol, Gloucester, Reading, Oxford, and Northampton areas, ensuring seamless servicing and repair of specialist industrial machinery post-installation.

Role & Responsibilities of the Field Service Engineer include:

• Visiting customer sites to perform service and repair work
• On-site machinery inspections and testing
• Completion of job reports
• Providing remote support when needed

Skills and Experience for the Field Service Engineer include:

• Field Service experience with industrial manufacturing machinery (OEM or third-party assets)
• Flexibility to cover a regional patch with some staying away from home
• Excellent communication skills with a commitment to delivering excellent customer service
• Apprentice-trained multi-skilled engineer, or mechanical engineers with experience in electrical fault finding / NVQ level 3 or 18th edition
• Full UK Drivers License
