Job summary

Mansell Recruitment Group is recruiting an experienced Service Engineer for an expanding engineering business near Exeter. The role combines field-based service with workshop repairs and maintenance, with travel across the South West and occasional further afield.

You will handle repairs, servicing, installation and fault-finding on hydraulic and pneumatic systems, collaborating with Engineering/Technical teams.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 engineering qualification or equivalent.
• Experience with hydraulic/pneumatic systems is essential.
• Good literacy and numeracy with IT skills (Word/Excel) required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs and servicing both at customer sites and in the workshop.
• Assemble hydraulic and pneumatic systems per drawings and specs.
• Test systems to meet operating criteria before delivery.
• Install and commission hydraulic and pneumatic systems at customer premises.
• Fault-find and diagnose complex hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
• Maintain accurate records and reports; observe H&S policies.
