Logisnext UK is seeking a Field Service Engineer to cover Derbyshire and Leicestershire, based from home and serving customers across the Telford, Wolverhampton area. The role involves servicing and repairing equipment, with door-to-door pay and a company van for personal use.

You will join a team with extensive industry experience, receiving manufacturer training and ongoing development. A full UK driving licence and strong customer-service focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Essential: mechanical engineering experience and fault-finding skills.
• Essential: full UK driving licence and ability to travel across regions.
• Experience maintaining or repairing machinery, vehicles or equipment is required.
• Strong problem-solving ability is essential.
• Ability to work independently and deliver reliable service.
• Good customer service skills are important for client interactions.
• Previous field service experience is beneficial but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Planned servicing and maintenance of customer equipment.
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults on site.
• Carrying out repairs and breakdown work as needed.
• Completing service documentation electronically.
• Installing and commissioning equipment at customer sites.
• Building strong relationships with customers.
• Maintaining high standards of safety while working.
• Managing own workload effectively in the field.
