Job summary

Clarke Energy in Central Scotland is hiring a Field Service Engineer to maintain gas engines and plant equipment across the Central Belt. You will perform scheduled servicing, fault diagnosis, and timely repairs to maximise reliability and minimise downtime for our customers.

Essentially you should have a strong engineering background with gas engines, Gas Safe registration, and a full UK driving licence. Expect on-call duties, travel across Scotland, and ongoing training at our Liverpool

Qualifications

• Strong engineering background with knowledge of gas engines and related systems.
• Gas Safe registration.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across Scotland.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned maintenance to maximise equipment reliability and minimise downtime.
• Respond to callouts and diagnose faults to restore operations.
• Maintain van stock and report shortages; order parts as needed.
• Mentor apprentices and new team members.
