Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service compressors and related equipment across the North West. The role includes full training on compressors, a company van, overtime, and clear progression paths within a leading industrial group.

You will typically be field-based from Ashford and will have a Monday–Friday schedule with on-call opportunities to boost earnings. A background in mechanical or electrical systems is preferred, along with a full UK driving license.

In this field based role, you will be covering sites around the North West of the UK and be responsible for service and maintenance of compressors and related equipment such as refrigeration, pipework, and air dryers. There will be ongoing training given on all aspects to allow you to progress to a rounded Service Engineer, with the opportunity to move into a Senior role further down the line. This is a Monday to Friday role, with overtime and on-call that can boost your earnings.

This role would suit a Service Engineer or similar with a background in any Mechanical or Electrical systems, who wants to join an industry leader that will provide comprehensive onboarding and additional training alongside mentorship, the opportunity to progress and the ability to boost earnings with overtime.

The Role:

• Working on compressors, pipework, driers, and refrigeration units
• Service and Maintenance works, full training given
• Covering the North West, door to door pay.
• Overtime paid at 1.5x, 1 week in 7 call-out.
• Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5pm, 40 hours a week

The Person:

• Service Engineer or similar
• Background in Mechanical / Electrical systems
• Happy to travel - Full UK Driving License
