Job summary

Demob Job Ltd is seeking a Field Service Engineer to cover Exeter and surrounding areas. The role is home-based with travel to customer sites for servicing, fault finding, diagnostics and repairs, plus installation and commissioning work.

The successful candidate will hold NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering, have experience with compressed air systems, be able to fault-find PLCs, and possess a full UK driving licence. Security clearance is required and tools are provided.

Qualifications

• Hold a minimum of NVQ Level 3 – Mechanical Engineering.
• Proven experience of carrying out equipment service, maintenance, repairs, and installations.
• Ideally have previous experience of compressed air systems.
• Capable of carrying out electrical fault finding, including PLCs.
• Good troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Must hold Security Clearance.
• Must have own toolkit (specialist tools provided).
• Must be flexible to travel including occasional overnights and on call rota.
• Hold full UK driving licence.

My client has an immediate requirement for a Field Service Engineer to join their team, covering Exeter and surrounding areas. The successful Field Service Engineer will be responsible for providing service and support to customers across their region, working on a wide range of compressed air equipment and associated systems.

This is a home-based field service role and will involve attending customer sites to carry out planned servicing, fault finding, diagnostics and repairs, as well as responding to breakdowns and completing installation and commissioning work.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established engineering business who provide specialist compressed air services to customers across a range of industries throughout the UK.

Field Service Engineer Requirements:
