Job summary

Allstaff in Bedford is seeking a Service Engineer - Compressed Air & Gas Systems for a permanent role. You will maintain, repair and install compressed air systems, run diagnostics, and travel to client sites within a 30 mile radius.

The ideal candidate has experience with industrial air, refrigeration or gas systems, strong electrical and mechanical skills, and a valid UK driving licence. Training and a contributory pension are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar Service Engineer role with industrial air, refrigeration or gas systems.
• Electrical and mechanical skills.
• Experience in scheduled maintenance.
• Fault diagnosis and repair experience.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

We have an exciting opportunity for a Service Engineer - Compressed Air & Gas Systems based in Bedford for one of our clients on a Full time Permanent basis.

Summary

Salary: £35,000 - £41,000

Location: Bedfordshire

Type of Contract: Permanent

Hours: Monday – Friday 8:30am-5pm

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair and install compressed air systems and related equipment
• Run diagnostic tests to find and fix system issues
• Log job reports
• Travel to customer sites within a 30 mile radius to repair equipment
• Complete planned and preventative maintenance
