Job summary

Linde Material Handling in Cumbria (DG postcode area) is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service a diverse range of forklift trucks and warehouse equipment. The role combines hands-on diagnostics with proactive maintenance and customer support.

You will travel to customer sites with a company van, use the latest technology to keep records, and enjoy a structured induction, ongoing training, and a clear path for progression.

Qualifications

• Ideally NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent)
• IT literacy for records and orders
• Full UK driving licence
• Able to work autonomously and in a team

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues to keep equipment running smoothly
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine check-ups
• Travel to customer sites to service forklifts and material handling equipment
• Build strong customer relationships and provide exceptional support
