Job summary

Linde Material Handling is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service a wide range of material handling equipment across Cumbria and the DG postcode area. You will diagnose, repair and maintain forklifts and related machinery while building strong customer relationships and delivering exceptional service.

The role offers a mix of on-site work with travel, opportunities for training and development, and the chance to advance within a market-leading global brand in the UK.

Qualifications

Hands-on role diagnosing and resolving technical issues to keep equipment running smoothly.
Proactive preventive maintenance and essential check-ups on fleet.
Experience with forklift/plant/vehicle technicians or similar roles preferred.
Full UK driving licence required.
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) preferred but not essential.
Comfortable using IT for record-keeping and orders.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair Linde forklifts and material handling equipment at customer sites.
Travel to various locations; build strong customer relationships and provide exceptional service.
Maintain fleets through preventative maintenance and timely parts replacement.
