Job summary

Linde Material Handling is hiring a Field Service Engineer to service forklifts and material handling equipment across Cumbria or DG postcode areas. You will diagnose issues, perform preventative maintenance, and travel to customer sites, building strong client relationships.

The role requires hands-on mechanical skills, a valid UK driving licence, and the ability to work autonomously or in a team. A comprehensive benefits package is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience as vehicle technicians or forklift technicians.
• Comfortable using IT equipment to record and place orders.
• Must hold a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues to keep equipment running at peak efficiency.
• Perform preventative maintenance and essential check-ups on forklifts and handling gear.
• Travel to customer sites and build strong relationships with clients.
• Work autonomously and as part of a team in a dynamic field service role.
