Job summary

Linde Material Handling in the UK is seeking skilled Field Service Engineers to service a broad lineup of forklift trucks and warehouse equipment across EH and TD postcodes. You will diagnose and repair equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and build strong relationships with customers.

The role offers a competitive salary, a choice of 40- or 45-hour weeks, shift premium and OT, plus 25 days’ leave, a company pension with employer contributions, and eligibility for incentive schemes.

Qualifications

• Experience as vehicle technicians or mechanical engineers, forklift technicians, plant fitters or vehicle technicians is desirable.
• Comfortable using IT equipment to keep records and place orders.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues on forklifts and material handling equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance to keep fleet in peak condition.
• Travel to customer sites to service equipment and build strong customer relationships.
• Maintain accurate service records using IT systems.
