Job summary

Linde Material Handling is seeking a Field Service Engineer in the Manchester area. You will diagnose and repair equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and travel to customer sites to service forklifts and other material handling equipment.

The role requires hands-on problem solving, autonomy, and teamwork in a dynamic environment. Candidates with forklift technician or vehicle technician backgrounds, NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent), and a full UK driving licence are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Experience as vehicle technicians or forklift technicians.
• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) preferred.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on and problem-solving role diagnosing and resolving technical issues.
• Conduct preventative maintenance to keep fleet in peak condition.
• Travel to customer locations to service Linde forklifts and related equipment.
• Build strong relationships and deliver exceptional customer support.
