Job summary

Linde Material Handling is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join our Manchester area team. You will diagnose and repair a range of forklift trucks and warehouse equipment, with a focus on preventing downtime and delivering excellent customer service.

The role offers a company van, a flexible 40/45-hour week, overtime, and a structured training path to develop technical grading and degree-level opportunities. A full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Field Service experience preferred.
• Experience diagnosing and resolving technical issues on material handling equipment.
• Willingness to perform preventative maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues on Linde forklifts and related equipment.
• Carry out preventative maintenance and safety checks to keep fleet running.
• Travel to customer locations and build strong service relationships.
• Work autonomously and as part of a team to meet service targets.
