A Service Engineer role in Bradford is available with an established engineering business. The position requires installing, servicing and supporting specialist equipment across the UK, with a focus on practical problem solving and independent field work.

Candidates should have an engineering qualification or apprenticeship and NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent), plus the ability to read technical drawings and diagnose faults. A UK driving licence and right to work are essential.

Formación

• NVQ Level 2 or Scottish NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification.
• Right to work in the UK or valid visa.
• Experience in service/maintenance of industrial machinery such as food processing equipment.
• Customer-focused with clear communication and ability to work independently.

Responsabilidades

• Install, commission, service and maintain equipment at customer sites across the UK.
• Carry out planned maintenance and inspections to keep machinery reliable.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults using drawings and schematics.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support and guidance on operation and maintenance.
• Deliver basic operator and maintenance training where required.
• Complete service reports and maintenance records accurately.
• Identify opportunities for parts, upgrades and additional service requirements.
• Assist with equipment modifications and improvement work.
• Adhere to health, safety and quality procedures.
