Zusammenfassung

Premier Group Recruitment is seeking a Field Service Engineer in Leicester (field-based) to install, service and repair a range of industrial equipment across the UK, Europe, and worldwide. You will travel extensively, including occasional overnight stays, to support customers and ensure equipment performs to specification.

The role involves diagnosing faults, performing preventative maintenance, and providing on-site technical support with a strong emphasis on safety and service quality.

Qualifikationen

• Experience as Field Service Engineer or similar in industrial settings.
• Strong mechanical engineering knowledge with electrical fault-finding experience.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and electrical schematics.
• Experience on industrial machinery, manufacturing equipment, automation, conveyors, packaging machinery or CNC equipment desirable.
• Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel extensively.

Aufgaben

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdown repairs on customer equipment.
• Install, commission, and test new machinery at customer sites.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and implement effective solutions.
• Complete service reports and document each customer visit accurately.
• Provide technical support and training to customers as required.
• Travel extensively to customer sites across the UK, Europe, and worldwide.
