Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Field Service Engineer with electrical and mechanical experience to work on generators, alternators and rotating equipment across the UK. Full technical training will be provided, plus door-to-door pay and 2–3 nights away per week during busy periods.

You will perform fault finding, electrical testing and mechanical repairs, with workshop support when not in the field. A background in plant or industrial equipment is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Previous field service experience.
• Electrical and mechanical engineering experience.
• Happy with nationwide travel and regular stays away.
• Motor, generator, plant or industrial equipment experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform fault finding and electrical testing on customer sites.
• Carry out mechanical repairs and bearing changes as needed.
• Work on generators, alternators and rotating equipment.
• Support the workshop when not in the field.
• Travel nationwide with 2–3 nights away per week during busy periods.
