Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Field Service Engineer with electrical and mechanical experience to join a specialist engineering team. You will perform fault finding, electrical testing, and mechanical repairs on customer sites across the UK, with 2–3 nights away per week.

A van and tools are provided for field work, along with door-to-door pay and overtime at 1.5x. Training will be provided to develop in a specialist area; prior motor winding experience is not required.

Qualifications

• Field service experience with electrical and mechanical skills.
• Able to fault find and perform hands-on repairs on site.
• Willing to travel nationwide and stay away 2–3 nights per week.

Responsibilities

• Field service, maintenance and repair on customer sites.
• Electrical testing and fault finding on equipment.
• Mechanical repairs and bearing changes on generators and rotating equipment.
• Workshop support when not in the field.
