Job summary

Jungheinrich UK Limited is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join our customer service team covering Doncaster & Wakefield. You will perform preventative maintenance and repairs on materials handling and related equipment, while maintaining strong customer relationships and accurate service reporting.

The ideal candidate will be mechanically and electrically biased, with experience in maintenance or service roles, a clean driving licence, and the ability to work unsupervised and sometimes

Qualifications

Mechanically and electrically biased engineers from maintenance/service backgrounds.
Experience in customer-facing environments; able to work unsupervised.
Experience supervising staff is desirable.

Responsibilities

Preventative maintenance of materials handling and ancillary equipment.
Repair of materials handling and ancillary equipment.
Accurately complete service reports and time sheets.
Manage and control parts stock.
Build customer relationships through effective communication.
Coordinate with after sales to relay repair times and ETA.
Identify chargeable follow up work and communicate to customers.
Adhere to health and safety procedures.
