Job summary

Honeywell International Inc in the United Kingdom is seeking a Field Service Engineer – Grid Entry Units to maintain and commission Bio-Gas Grid Entry Units at client sites across the UK. This field-based role requires travel, with occasional overnight stays, and includes planned preventative maintenance and commissioning on required sites.

You will test units for safety and function, provide hands-on training to new operators, investigate faults, and recommend improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial servicing or controls systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Willingness to travel across the UK.

Responsibilities

• Manage annual servicing including condition-based servicing and PPM.
• Test Grid Entry Unit for safety and operation, and train new users.
• Investigate faults and perform system analysis.
• Engage with clients to understand issues and provide improvements.
• Meet customer needs via remote support as part of an on-call rota.
