Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is recruiting a Field Service Engineer to service, maintain and repair generators, Biogas plants, CHP systems and associated plant equipment across client sites in the United Kingdom. The role involves carrying out planned maintenance and emergency breakdown support, with a Monday–Friday dayshift and the benefit of a company van, paid travel, overtime and industry training.

Qualifications

• Experience in servicing and maintaining generator sets or related plant equipment.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and control systems.
• Ability to diagnose faults and implement repairs.
• Strong customer service mindset and on-site communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned maintenance and emergency breakdown support for generators.
• Diagnose faults across mechanical, electrical, and control systems and implement repairs.
• Assist installation, commissioning and optimisation of new systems.
• Deliver high standards of customer service on client sites.
• Work both independently and within a wider technical support team.
