Job summary

Honeywell International Inc in the UK is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service and commission Grid Entry Units at client sites across the country. You will perform planned maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and participate in new installations with on-site and remote support as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience with industrial servicing or controls systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Manage annual servicing of Grid Entry Units, including condition-based servicing and PPM, and submit full job reports.
• Test Grid Entry Unit for safety and proper function before sign-off; provide hands-on training to new users.
• Investigate faults, perform system analysis, and carry out replacements as required.
• Engage with clients to understand issues, observe, suggest improvements, and provide recommendations.
• Support customers remotely as part of an on-call rota.
• Utilise prior industrial servicing or controls experience to uphold safety and quality standards.
