Job summary

Coalesce Recruitment Limited is seeking a Field Service Engineer to maintain and repair capital equipment on customer sites across Tyne & Wear, Northumberland and Cumbria. You will gain Gas Safe qualifications and receive extensive training from day one, with a company that values its people and offers clear career development.

You will be based from home, performing planned maintenance, service and fault diagnosis, with overtime and travel as needed across regional sites.

Qualifications

• Time served and/or NVQ level 3 in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience working on electro-mechanical machinery, industrial or capital equipment.
• Knowledge of pumps, motors, drives, compressors, valves, vacuum systems and piping.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned preventative maintenance, service and fault diagnosis on customer sites.
• Carry out repairs on customer sites throughout Tyne & Wear, Northumberland and Cumbria (and beyond as required).

Field Service Engineer Industry leading OEM Tyne & Wear / Northumberland / Cumbria Salary: £34,500 - £47,500 + Expenses + overtime = OTE = £45k -£55k ++ company van, tablet, mobile phone, 23 days holiday rising to 25 after 12 months service + bank, company pension scheme, life assurance and full workwear and ongoing training.

As Field Service Engineer you will be based from home and carry out planned preventative maintenance, service and fault diagnosis and repairs on customer sites throughout Tyne & Wear, Northumberland and Cumbria and further afield when required.

You will be time served and / or qualified to NVQ level 3 or equivalent within Electrical or Mechanical Engineering; able to demonstrate experience of working within a multi-skilled maintenance engineering or field service role, working on electro-mechanical based machinery, industrial or capital equipment including experience or knowledge of pumps, motors, drives, compressors, valves, vacuum systems and piping.

Individuals with a HM Forces or plant background who can demonstrate experience of working on a variety of electro-mechanical plant considered.
