Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join a global OEM, based from home and covering Tyne & Wear, Northumberland and Cumbria. The role offers a competitive salary, a company van, expenses and overtime with OTE £45k–£55k.

You will perform planned maintenance, fault diagnosis and repairs on electro‑mechanical plant across customer sites, and gain Gas Safe qualifications through extensive training from day one.

Qualifications

• NVQ level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in maintenance engineering or field service on electro-mechanical equipment.
• Knowledge of pumps, motors, inverters, and PLC/SCADA systems.
• Willingness to travel across Tyne & Wear, Northumberland and Cumbria.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and fault diagnosis.
• Repair on customer sites across the region.
• Work from home base with company van provided.
• Interact with customers to ensure minimal downtime.

As Field Service Engineer you will be based from home and carry out planned preventative maintenance, service and fault diagnosis and repairs on customer sites throughout Tyne & Wear, Northumberland and Cumbria and further afield when required. You will be qualified to NVQ level 3 or equivalent within Electrical Engineering; be multi-skilled with previous experience within a maintenance engineering or field service role, working on electro-mechanical equipment, machinery or systems including experience or knowledge of pumps, motors, inverters, compressors, power supplies, instrumentation, HMI's / SCADA, PLC's. Individuals with a Royal Navy background who can demonstrate experience of working on a variety of electro-mechanical based plant considered.
