Job summary

TipTopJob in Reading is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service, repair and calibrate laboratory equipment across the UK. You will join an existing team of engineers, receive full product training, and enjoy a base salary of GBP 36,000 with an OTE of GBP 40,000 to GBP 45,000 plus a GBP 2,000 car allowance.

The role is 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with flexible hours available and no weekend or on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Electro-mechanical background required or suitable experience.
• Experience in service, repair and calibration of laboratory equipment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair and calibration work to laboratory equipment such as centrifuges, incubators, freezers, ovens and water baths.
• Plan your own workload and arrange appointments directly with customers.
• Occasional overnight away to support field service coverage.

• Base Salary: A GBP 36,000

Field Service Engineer required for an industry leading service provider to the medical and laboratory industries offering training.

This role would suit candidates from any electro:mechanical background as full product related training will be provided.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out service, repair, and calibration work to laboratory equipment such as centrifuges, incubators, freezers etc. You will be joining an existing team of six engineers who cover customer sites in the UK. Candidates may be required to travel further afield and occasionally stay overnight to support the wider team as needed.
