Field Service Engineer

My client is a leading global manufacturer of precision measuring instruments and equipment.

They are seeking an experienced Multiskilled Field Service Engineer (Mechanically Biased) to join their team and work across the Midlands.

Key Responsibilities

• Install the company's precision measuring equipment.
• Perform service and calibration work.
• Undertake troubleshooting, including fault-finding, diagnosis, and rectification.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of HNC/BTEC or equivalent in an engineering discipline, or relevant industry experience.
• Experience working on robotics, CNC machinery, or similar equipment.
• Experience fault-finding on mechanical/electrical systems.
• Effective communication and organizational skills, with high accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good IT skills.
• Valid full driving license.

What We Offer

• GBP34,000 salary with GBP40K OTE
• Discretionary End-of-Year Bonus
• Pension scheme (including private health scheme and death in service benefit after 3 years of service)
• Holidays: 23 days plus bank holidays, increasing by one day per year of service up to 28 days
• Standard hours: 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break
