Job summary

NEOS Engineering is recruiting for an experienced Field Service Engineer to cover Grantham and surrounding areas, servicing, maintaining and repairing specialist equipment at customer sites to minimise downtime and keep machinery operating efficiently.

You will work independently with a company van, fuel card and overtime/commission opportunities. The position is permanent, 40 hours per week, with ongoing training and development.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Field Service Engineer or similar
• Strong mechanical engineering knowledge
• Good hydraulic fault-finding ability
• Electrical/diagnostic experience
• Experience on plant, construction, agricultural or specialist equipment
• Full UK driving licence

Responsibilities

• Attend customer sites to carry out servicing and repairs
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults
• Complete planned preventative maintenance
• Respond to breakdowns and carry out repairs
• Carry out inspections and safety checks
• Complete service reports and maintenance records

£33,280 – £37,440 + Overtime + Commission Opportunity + Company Van + Fuel Card

NEOS Engineering are recruiting for an experienced Field Service Engineer to cover Grantham and the surrounding areas for an established specialist equipment business.

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys working independently, visiting customer sites and solving technical problems in the field.

The Role

You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing a range of specialist equipment at customer locations, helping to minimise downtime and keep machinery operating efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend customer sites to carry out servicing and repairs


• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults


• Complete planned preventative maintenance


• Respond to breakdowns and carry out repairs

About You
