Job summary

NEOS Engineering are recruiting for a Heavy Plant Engineer to join a well-established plant hire business based from their Sittingbourne depot. This is a great opportunity for an experienced engineer who wants to work with a busy depot and a large fleet.

Based from Sittingbourne, you’ll service, maintain, diagnose faults and repair a wide range of heavy plant equipment across Kent and surrounding areas, mostly in the field with depot support behind you.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical fault-finding experience.
• Hydraulic and electrical fault-finding expertise.
• Experience servicing, maintaining, diagnosing and repairing heavy plant.
• Able to work independently in the field.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, breakdowns and repairs on heavy plant equipment.
• Visit customer sites across Kent and surrounding areas.
• Diagnose faults and return machines to service quickly while maintaining customer relationships.

Heavy Plant Engineer – Field Service

Sittingbourne, Kent

£40,000 – £43,000 + Overtime + Company Van + Benefits

NEOS Engineering are recruiting for a Heavy Plant Engineer to join a well-established and growing Plant Hire business based from their Sittingbourne depot.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Heavy Plant Engineer who wants to join a busy, established depot with a strong engineering team and a large fleet of plant and construction machinery.

Based from the Sittingbourne depot, you’ll be responsible for supporting customers throughout Kent and the surrounding area, carrying out servicing, maintenance, breakdowns and repairs on a wide variety of heavy plant equipment. You’ll spend the majority of your time in the field, but will have the support, parts and engineering resources of the depot behind you.

We’re looking for a Heavy Plant Engineer with strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical fault-finding experience. You could currently be working as a Heavy Plant Engineer, Field Service Engineer, Mobile Plant Fitter, Plant Mechanic or Service Engineer within Plant Hire, Construction Equipment, Agricultural Machinery or a similar industry.

You’ll need to be comfortable working independently, diagnosing faults and getting machines back into service quickly while maintaining a good relationship with customers.
