Job summary

NEOS Engineering are recruiting an experienced Field Service Engineer to service, maintain and repair a range of specialist equipment at customer locations, helping to minimise downtime and keep machinery operating efficiently.

The role is based in Devizes with a 40-hour week, offering a basic salary of £33,280–£37,440, overtime opportunities, a company van and a fuel card, and ongoing training and development.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Field Service Engineer or similar role.
• Strong mechanical engineering knowledge.
• Ability to diagnose hydraulic, electrical faults.

Responsibilities

• Attend customer sites to service and repair equipment.

The Role

You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing a range of specialist equipment at customer locations, helping to minimise downtime and keep machinery operating efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend customer sites to carry out servicing and repairs
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults
• Complete planned preventative maintenance
• Respond to breakdowns and carry out repairs
• Carry out inspections and safety checks
• Complete service reports and maintenance records
• Build strong relationships with customers
• Provide professional technical support
• Maintain high standards of health and safety

About You

• Previous experience as a Field Service Engineer, Mobile Engineer, Plant Engineer or similar
• Strong mechanical engineering knowledge
• Good hydraulic fault-finding ability
• Electrical/diagnostic experience
• Experience working on plant, construction, agricultural or specialist equipment
• Comfortable working independently
• Full UK driving licence
