A global manufacturer based in Huddersfield is looking for a Field Service Engineer to join their service team. This permanent role offers a salary of £35,000 to £45,000 depending on experience, plus overtime and benefits.

You will service engineered systems on site, perform electrical fault finding and calibration, and travel to client sites as needed. The role includes strong training, opportunities for growth, and a supportive engineering team.

Qualifications

Mechanical or electrical engineering apprenticeship or equivalent.
Experience in engineering/manufacturing environments.
Electrical fault-finding experience.
Experience with airflow testing, filter integrity testing, or calibration.
Willingness to travel and stay away when required.
Full UK driving licence.
Ability to work independently and manage time.

Responsibilities

On-site servicing, revalidation and testing of engineered systems.
Electrical fault finding and basic mechanical diagnostics.
Airflow testing using calibrated equipment.
Filter integrity testing and particle testing.
Calibration of pressure and velocity instruments.
Completing service reports and technical documentation.
Maintaining test equipment and company van to required standards.
Representing the business professionally on customer sites.
Identifying and feeding back service, spares, or upgrade opportunities.
