Job summary

Lynton Lasers Ltd. in London region seeks a technically skilled engineer to maintain and repair laser and IPL systems across hospitals and clinics. The role includes on-site installations, fault finding, and documentation to medical device standards.

Training begins at HQ in Cheshire with ongoing development, plus potential overseas travel. Applicants should have engineering or physics background and a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out scheduled maintenance and reactive repairs on laser and IPL systems.

• Troubleshooting issues on site and delivering excellent customer support.
• Completing technical documentation in line with medical device regulations.

About this role

You’ll be part of a supportive and expert service team, delivering vital technical support to hospitals, clinics, and distributors. From planned maintenance and installations to fault-finding and calibrations, you’ll play a key role in helping healthcare professionals deliver safe and effective treatment outcomes.

• Varied, hands‑on role with new challenges each week
• Full induction and technical training at HQ in Cheshire (initial 2 weeks plus ongoing development)
• Opportunity for overseas travel, if desired
• Trusted autonomy in managing your regional patch and customer relationships

• Carrying out scheduled maintenance and reactive repairs on laser and IPL systems
• Installing new equipment
• Troubleshooting issues on site and delivering excellent customer support
• Completing technical documentation in line with medical device regulations

• Proven experience working with medical devices or lasers (highly desirable, but not essential)
• Background in engineering, electronics, physics, or similar (degree or hands‑on experience)
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Comfortable working independently, with a full UK driving licence
• Proficient IT and record‑keeping abilities

• Basic salary of £30,000 – £36,000 depending on experience
• Overtime (typically £5,000–£10,000)
