Job summary

Neos is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer in Dundee to service and repair construction machinery. You will perform routine maintenance, diagnose faults, complete warranty and damage repairs, and travel to customer sites across the country while keeping detailed reports via an iPad.

A strong background in plant equipment, NVQ Level 3 Plant Maintenance, CSCS preference, and ability to travel for training are required. Training and vehicle tooling provided.

Qualifications

• Strong background in Plant industry essential.
• NVQ Level 3 Plant Maintenance or equivalent.
• CSCS card holder preferred.
• Experience with diagnostic tools and engine diagnostics software.
• Able to travel for manufacturer training outside the UK.
• Good level of education including English, Maths and IT.

Responsibilities

• Routine maintenance and breakdowns on machinery.
• Warranty repairs.
• Damage repairs.
• Site visits across various areas of the country.
• Clear reporting of work carried out and repairs required on iPad.
• Manage all above to ensure 100% recovery.

Field Service Engineer

Dundee

£17 - £18.50 p/h + Tool Allowance + Company Van

The business provides an end-to-end solution to customers’ equipment needs, including servicing equipment through a team of mobile engineers, maximising its lifetime and optimising its utilisation.

The Role

Experienced field service engineer covering the below on various construction equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Routine maintenance and breakdowns on machinery
• Warranty repairs.
• Damage repairs.
• Site visits across various areas of the country
• Clear and detailed reporting of work carried out and repairs necessary on engineer iPad
• Manage all above to ensure 100% recovery.

Additional Responsibilities

• Care of company vehicle and reporting of defects
• Good communication with customers and other staff

Experience and Qualifications

• Strong background in Plant industry essential.
• NVQ Level 3 Plant Maintenance or equivalent.
• CSCS card holder is preferred
• Experience of diagnostic tools and computer software including Engine diagnostics
• Ability to thrive and succeed in a busy, ever-changing environment
• Excellent level of attention to detail and conscientiousness
• Preferred dealer experience but not essential
• Must be able to travel outside of the UK to attend manufacturers training courses.
• Good general level of Education including English, Maths, and IT
