Overview

Your mission as the Field Service Engineer is to provide expert repair services for our technology solutions, delivering unmatched customer satisfaction and upholding the highest standards of safety. You are committed to ensuring the performance and longevity of your customers' technology through your expertise. Your work is important for supporting the operational success and technological advancement of industries relying on these technologies.

Responsibilities

• Represent Atlas Copco on-site with professionalism and a customer-first approach
• Install, service, and troubleshoot air compressors, dryers, gas generators, and related equipment
• Diagnose technical faults and deliver expert repairs with safety and efficiency
• Use digital tools to log service activity, maintain up-to-date records, and report on performance
• Participate in our on-call schedule and support urgent service needs when required
• Attend live training and regular team sessions to keep your knowledge and skills sharp
• Act as a brand ambassador and identify opportunities for continuous improvement or added value
• Contribute to a culture of collaboration, safety, and innovation across the wider service team

Qualifications and Requirements

• Hands-on experience in industrial, mechanical, electrical, or engineering roles, including troubleshooting and maintenance
• Relevant mechanical or electrical qualifications, or equivalent practical experience
• Comfortable with standard IT applications and quick to adopt new digital tools and systems for service management
• Valid UK driving licence with a good driving record (no more than 3 points)
• Adaptability, proactive problem-solving skills, and a strong safety mindset in a fast-moving work environment
• Excellent communication skills with a customer-oriented approach and enthusiasm for resolving technical challenges

Location

You will be part of our customer center in Hemel Hempstead. You will join a dynamic field service team, working remotely and spending a significant amount of time traveling to visit customers within your designated area, Southeast UK.
