Job summary

Kautec Recruitment is seeking a Field Service Engineer to travel to client workshops serving a range of bespoke vehicle platforms. The role requires a self-motivated, independent technician capable of fault analysis, repair, and preventative maintenance across multiple sites.

Applicants should be fully qualified Commercial Vehicle Technicians or have apprenticeship accreditation; Class 2 Licence is beneficial. Travel within designated areas, with holiday and pension benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Class 2 Licence would be beneficial.
• Willingness to travel to client workshops within designated area.
• Knowledge of HGVs and related vehicle platforms (GSE, RORO, etc.).

Field Service Engineer - Bespoke Equipment

Are you ready to go on the road and take your technical skills to a dedicated network of customer sites?

We are looking for a self motivated and independent Vehicle Engineer who can travel to our clients various workshops in a designated area providing:

In this role, no 2 days will ever be the same and the products that you work on will be diverse. HGV s, Ground Support GSE, RORO (Roll on Roll Off), Fire and rescue, Tractors and Tugs plus other bespoke operating platforms.

We are looking for a self motivated and independent HGV Vehicle Engineer who can travel to our clients various workshops in a designated area providing:

• Callouts
• Preventative Maintenance
• Emergency Breakdowns
• Pre-arranged servicing at rural sites
• MOT Preparation
• Engine work and diagnostic investigations
• Correction of running defects
• Chassis and fabrication work
• Hydraulics and pneumatics
• Improvement of vehicle standards
• Electrical and wiring inspections and corrections

Your industry is moving faster with every day that passes. Electric & Hydrogen Vehicles are now part of the present and you will be trained on the newest products and repair techniques when required.

A Class 2 Licence would be beneficial.

You will need to be a fully qualified Commercial Vehicle Technician or have been accredited via an authorised Apprenticeship.
