Job summary

TipTopJob is recruiting a Field Service Engineer to service materials handling machinery across Blackburn, Bolton and Oldham regions. You will carry out planned maintenance and breakdowns on forklifts and related equipment, primarily on-site with a mobile home-based base.

Expect a structured role with regular hours (Monday–Friday) and ample overtime options. A technical background in motor vehicles or plant is ideal, with training provided to become fully competent on all equipment.

Up to A GBP 37,000 Monday to Friday 40 Hours a Week, 8am to 4.30pm or

Up to A GBP 42,000 Monday to Friday 45 Hours a Week, 7am to 4.30pm

Field Service Engineer role available in a highly successful and international manufacturer of forklift trucks.

The Field Service Engineer role will be suitable for candidates who have worked on cars, plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural or similar equipment. If you are a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic looking for a change of industry and like the idea of being mobile role this role could really appeal.

Part of a team, youll be based from home carrying out PPM and breakdown on a range of forklifts, typically an hour maximum from your home location. No stay away or extensive travel is required. Overtime is available if desired mostly in the week.
