TipTopJob is seeking a Field Service Engineer to cover Sunderland and Durham Territory. The role involves carrying out planned maintenance and breakdown repairs on forklifts and related machinery, with no extensive travel required.

You will join a team that supports engineers with training, tools, and a fully expensed van. A strong mechanical background with engine diagnostics and basic electrical skills is preferred. The position offers solid earning potential and company benefits.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Carry out PPM and breakdown on materials handling machinery on a field service basis

• Complete training to become fully competent on all machinery and equipment
• Spares arranged in van overnight

8am to 4.30pm, Monday to Thursday and Friday 4pm

A GBP 33,000 : A GBP 35,000 Starting Salary

Field Service Engineer role available in a highly successful manufacturer of forklift trucks. The role will suit those looking to join a employee driven company offering comprehensive training and support.

The Field Service Engineer role will be suitable for engineers from any kind of plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural, cleaning equipment or similar. This is also a great career opportunity for vehicle technicians looking to move into a new industry as the company will fully train. You need to demonstrate mechanical service and repair skills, ideally have engine diagnostic and some basic electrical skills.

Part of a team of engineers, youll be responsible for carrying out service and repairs on a range of forklifts. No stay away or extensive travel is required. Excellent OTE available through overtime and commission.
