Energy Jobline ZR in Coventry is seeking a Field Service Engineer to perform PPM and breakdown on materials handling equipment such as forklifts. This field-based role covers a defined geographic area with no requirement for extended travel away from home.

Ideal candidates are vehicle technicians or mechanics seeking a change of industry within an international manufacturer. Two pay bands apply (up to £37k or up to £42k) with overtime options and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural or similar equipment experience.
• Ideally hold a level 3 or equivalent in a relevant subject.

Responsibilities

• Carry out PPM and breakdown on materials handling machinery on a field service engineering basis.
• Reactive breakdown coverage within the allocated geographical area.
• Spares placed in van overnight.

Job DescriptionField Service Engineer (vehicle/Mechanic/Forklifts) Coventry Up to £37,000 Monday to Friday 40 Hours a Week, 8am to 4.30pm or Up to £42,000 Monday to Friday 45 Hours a Week, 7am to 4.30pm Field Service Engineer role available in a highly successful and international manufacturer of forklift trucks. This is an ideal role for those seeking a new industry in a field based role. The Field Service Engineer role will be suitable for candidates who have worked on cars, plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural or similar equipment. If you are a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic looking for a change of industry and like the idea of being mobile role this role could really appeal. Part of a team, you'll be responsible for carrying out PPM and breakdown on a range of forklifts, typically an hour maximum from your home location. No stay away or extensive travel is required. Overtime is available if desired mostly in the week.
