Job summary

TipTopJob in Chesterfield is seeking a Mobile Vehicle Technician (Field Service Engineer/Mechanic/Forklifts) to service forklifts and related machinery from a home base. The role offers two pay scales depending on shift pattern and delivers a fully expensed Ford Transit Custom van, plus overtime opportunities.

You will carry out PPM and breakdowns on materials handling equipment, and complete training to become fully competent on all machinery.

Qualifications

• Experience on plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural or similar equipment.
• Ideally hold a Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant subject.
• Willing to work on a mobile/service-from-home basis.

Responsibilities

• Carry out PPM and breakdown on materials handling equipment.
• Receive comprehensive training to become fully competent.
• Spare parts stocked in van for daily use.

Up to A GBP 37,000 Monday to Friday 40 Hours a Week, 8am to 4.30pm or

Up to A GBP 42,000 Monday to Friday 45 Hours a Week, 7am to 4.30pm

Mobile Vehicle Technician role available in a highly successful and international manufacturer of forklift trucks.

The Mobile Vehicle Technician role will be suitable for candidates who have worked on cars, plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural or similar equipment. If you are a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic looking for a change of industry and like the idea of being mobile role this role could really appeal.

Part of a team, youll be based from home carrying out PPM and breakdown on a range of forklifts, typically an hour maximum from your home location. No stay away or extensive travel is required. Overtime is available if desired mostly in the week.
