Job summary

Executive Network Group in Wiltshire is seeking a Field Service Technician to join a busy service and repair operation. The role focuses on servicing, repairing and maintaining lorry loader cranes and related machinery, with a clear path for long-term career development.

You will receive a basic salary of £30,000–£40,000 plus overtime, a company van, and a benefits package. The role suits someone early in their engineering career, with training provided and opportunities to progress.

Qualifications

• NVQ or City & Guilds in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (desirable)
• Full UK driving license
• Experience with lorry loader cranes or similar machinery would be preferred

Responsibilities

• Carry out all service, repair and maintenance work on a range of lorry loader cranes and associated machinery
• Carry out tests and inspections on all products
• Carry out fault finding and diagnostic testing on all mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• Manage own workload and work independently, providing high levels of customer service at all times
• Working within the workshop, alongside attending breakdowns on customer sites.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Field Service Engineer to join an established service and repair company based in Wiltshire.

This role would ideally suit someone at the early stages of their engineering career, particularly a candidate who has recently completed an engineering apprenticeship and is looking to build on their practical experience. Full product and manufacturer training will be provided, alongside genuine opportunities for long-term career progression, and continued skill development.

Requirements of Role:

• Hold an NVQ or City & Guilds in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (desirable)
• Experience working on lorry loader cranes, plant machinery, agricultural machinery, forklifts, or similar construction machinery would be preferred
• Full UK driving license
• Positive attitude towards wanting to learn and develop
