Job summary

Dawsongroup Material Handling is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service and repair forklift trucks across South East London and Essex. You will diagnose faults, deliver high customer service, and work independently.

The role requires a full UK driving licence and hands-on mechanical skills with diesel, LPG, hydraulic and electronic systems. Training and progression opportunities are provided, supported by a safety-first culture.

Qualifications

• Full, valid UK driving licence.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service and repair forklift trucks at customer and Dawsongroup locations.

• Complete service reports detailing repairs, parts used and time taken.
• Inspect equipment, report its condition and maintain company tools, equipment and your service van.
• Build strong customer relationships while following health and safety procedures and agreed authorisation limits.
