Field Service Engineer - Full Time

45 hours per week, working 5 out of 7 days

Salary: £26,770 - £28,000 per annum + bonus scheme

Location: Braintree, UK

We are looking for a new colleague to join our team and help us look after our estate of photobooths, photo printing machines, and key cutting machines. Full training and a company vehicle will be provided.

We prefer candidates based within approximately 10 miles of Braintree, but travel around the surrounding areas to service machines is required.

Our focus is on amazing our customers and colleagues. You will enjoy multitasking and using your initiative to ensure all our machines are operational and well-maintained, turning first-time customers into lifelong clients.

This role offers more than typical field service tasks and can be very rewarding and enjoyable for the right individual. We foster a fun, energetic, and motivated atmosphere.

If you have a full driving license, are self-motivated, eager to earn bonuses, keen to learn new skills, and take pride in your personal standards, you are ideal for our team.

Work hours are 45 per week, with 5 days out of 7 scheduled.

The starting salary is £26,770, increasing to £28,000 after probation. Additionally, there is an uncapped monthly bonus, often around £500.

Key Responsibilities

• Replenish and restock machines
• Carry out preventative service visits within a designated territory
• Complete site surveys for new machine installations
• Clean machines to ensure they are in excellent condition for customers
• Handle cash removals and deposits
• Perform repairs as part of ongoing maintenance
• Manage stock both on-site and in vehicles
• Support or cover for other field engineers as needed
• Build positive relationships with concession partners
• Maintain a professional and helpful attitude towards colleagues and customers
• Present a smart appearance, wear the correct uniform and name badge, and leave machines in better condition than found
