Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client, a leading Machining Manufacturer in their search for a Field Service Engineer for the southern region of the UK.

For the successful Field Service Engineer our client is offering:

• up to £40,000 Per Annum (+ overtime after 10 hours, + overtime flat rate for any weekend or tech support work)
• 40 hour contract (flexible start and end time) Monday to Friday
• Permanent

The role – Field Service Engineer :

• To carry out repairs, on site commissioning, service and calibration of customer's check-weighing equipment
• Carry out upgrades and refurbishments on customer site.
• Handle on site customer queries in a fair and courteous manner.
• Completing all necessary paperwork accurately and on a timely basis in accordance with the company procedures.
• Provide technical support via phone and email where required

What our client is looking for in a Field Service Engineer :

• Previous experience working in a field service engineering role within the food packaging and production industry - ESSENTIAL
• Experience repairing and maintaining check-weighing machines, multi-head check-weighers and high speed precision weighing equipment - DESIREABLE
• BTECH or equivalent in Electrical Engineering - ESSENTIAL
• Driver License and Ability to Travel regionally
