Job summary

ITS Construction Professionals South LTD is seeking an experienced Field Sales Representative for a leading waste management and recycling business in the South East. You will drive new business, manage key accounts, and tailor waste solutions to client needs.

The role requires strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills, self-motivation, and the ability to travel to customer sites. Immediate start with a salary of 33,000 to 35,000 per annum plus commission and benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in field sales, business development or account management.
• Proven experience generating new business and developing existing accounts.
• Strong commercial understanding and financial acumen.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Confident dealing with customers at all levels.
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage your own workload.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Experience within waste management, recycling or environmental services is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Developing new business opportunities and managing existing customer accounts.
• Generating customer meetings and delivering professional presentations.
• Understanding customer requirements and recommending suitable waste and recycling solutions.
• Building and maintaining strong, long-term customer relationships.
• Preparing quotations and maintaining a strong sales pipeline.
• Managing opportunities from initial quotation through to contract and implementation.
• Attending customer sites and promoting improved recycling and waste management practices.
• Identifying opportunities to increase and retain existing business.
• Maintaining accurate records of contacts, leads and prospective opportunities.
• Liaising with the Sales Manager and Head of Sales to achieve departmental objectives.
• Ensuring all activities are carried out in accordance with relevant legislation and company procedures.
• Promoting and maintaining high standards of health and safety.
