Job summary

Barco Sales, a plumbing and heating distributor, is seeking an Area Sales Manager to cover South London and the South on a field-based basis. With 200+ active accounts, the role focuses on growing sales by developing existing relationships and identifying new opportunities across a wide product range.

You will work with an industry-leading portal, strong internal support, and training from an experienced Sales Director to maximise profitability and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Field sales or account management experience in plumbing and heating preferred.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building across a varied customer base.
• Full, clean UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop an established customer base across the territory.
• Grow sales and profitability through account development and new business.
• Identify opportunities to increase customer spend across the product range.
• Build strong relationships with customers and key decision-makers.
• Plan and manage your diary to maximise customer contact and sales opportunities.
• Maintain a healthy pipeline and progress opportunities through to completion.
• Use CRM and account data to prioritise activity and identify growth opportunities.
• Negotiate profitable business while delivering excellent customer service.
• Act as a professional ambassador for the Barco brand.
